PHYSIOTHERAPY IN KENMORE
Rosemary Gaddes studied Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland and also obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Psychology.
During her Physiotherapy studies, she developed a special interest in neck and back pain, and sports injuries, both acute and chronic. Rosemary has also studied ergonomics and workplace injuries, focusing on rehabilitation at the workplace, worksite assessments, and functional capacity assessments. Her Certificate 4 in Design Services followed, and she was instrumental in the Interior design and refurbishment of whole workplaces.
She was also able to assist workers with Suitable Duties Programs while injured - a system of early intervention and treatment, which involved communication with Insurance and Employer groups, as well as workplace health Officers. She also acted as a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Officer.
Rosemary has extensive experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, both acute and chronic, and the management of conditions causing back and neck pain. An avid runner herself, she has special interest in many sports, in particular cycling, swimming and running, performing arts, martial arts, surfing, and sailing.
To stay in touch with her right brain, Rosemary has a Certificate Four in Design Services and has assisted people to design offices and floor plans, using ergonomic furniture and a keen eye for the creative.
